  40.      The InfraRexx software along with the InfraJoy hardware serve as
  41.      an ARexx-Infrared interface, that adds the function of an infrared
  42.      remote controller to your Amiga, and more.
  43.  
  44.      With this software and hardware you can:
  45.  
  46.        o Control external audio/video devices via ARexx commands.
  47.        o Control Amiga programs via a common remote control unit.
  48.        o Learn and edit new remote control infrared commands.
  49.  
  50.      For example you can control a moduleplayer via your compact
  51.      disc player remote control unit. Or, control your video tape
  52.      recorder via a graphic user interface or an ARexx script.

  54.      The main features are:

  56.        o Seperate editor (with learner) and ARexx host commodity.
  57.        o Multitasking-friendly infrared sampling monitor, with very
  58.          low system overhead during monitoring; can also be disabled.
  59.        o Font-sensitive, style-compliant graphic user interface.
  60.        o Supports localization under Workbench 2.1 (or better).
  61.        o Uses AmigaOS 3.x functions and gadtools features if present.
  62.        o Modular lowcost hardware for joystickport, with throughput.
  63.        o Uses the Amiga Installer Utility to install onto (hard)disk.

  74. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  76.        InfraRexx needs at least AmigaOS version 2.04, and the commodity
  77.        needs RexxMast to be running in order to be useful. The software
  78.        is useless without the small InfraJoy hardware add-on, off which
  79.        the design and full building instructions are included. The
  80.        hardware can also be ordered from one of the authors.
